Many systems simply monitor the worker and report an event when the problem has already happened.
ETIES IOT devices work earlier: they monitor the operator, the machinery/plants around them and the surrounding environment to detect risk conditions, activate preventive actions, reduce response time in case of emergency and track movement across the construction site.

The device includes GPS, environmental sensors and an accelerometer. This means it does not only monitor the operator’s position, but also their physical and operational status: moving, still, fallen or lying on the ground, as well as the external conditions in which they are working: temperature, humidity, pressure and light.
This information helps identify the severity of the situation
faster and activate the right response.
